Starbucks partnered with TikTok for Business to make it easier for customers to understand how to order bespoke drinks while also joining the ongoing conversation already happening around the brand on TikTok. The goal was to turn a popular organic trend into a bigger brand moment and make Starbucks a regular part of fans’ lives.

TikTok for Business used Spark Ads alongside offline activity, promoting creator videos that featured two limited-edition drinks inspired by TikTok: a Strawberry Sunset iced tea and a Churro Frappuccino® Blended Beverage. Starbucks ran the campaign on both auction and Reach & Frequency to avoid overexposure, and the effort generated 11.5 million impressions, more than 220,000 likes, and 31,500 new followers for the brand.
