Creating excitement with a Branded Effect for the launch of a new cobranded milk brand

Indomilk, one of Indonesia’s leading milk brands, wanted to make a splash with the launch of a new co-branded milk featuring the animated series Tobot and needed a way to creatively showcase the collaboration, capture attention, and drive meaningful engagement. They partnered with TikTok for Business and planned a campaign using TikTok creative products including a Branded Effect and Brand Premium In-Feed Ads.

TikTok for Business created a Branded Effect that let users virtually suit up as one of three Tobot characters via hand gestures, paired with Tobot’s theme song, and amplified the launch with four creator posts plus Brand Premium In-Feed Ads and two in-house videos over a three-week campaign. The effort delivered 63.4 million impressions, more than 22.4 million video views, over 68,000 user-created videos using the effect, and roughly 414,000 engagements.
