Exact Sciences, a molecular diagnostics company best known for Cologuard, faced a marketing challenge: identify which physicians to target, the right channels and timing, and the influencers that drive adoption. Their Snowflake warehouse contained rich data, but relational analytics couldn’t reveal the complex relationships they needed, so Exact Sciences turned to TigerGraph’s graph database and analytics to uncover hidden insights.

Using TigerGraph, Exact Sciences exports Snowflake and application data (HubSpot, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.) via an Apache Spark connector into a graph where deep-link analytics and pattern matching surface causality and recommend next-best-actions; Expero visualizations deliver those insights to marketers. TigerGraph’s solution enabled better targeting and engagement with medical professionals, streamlined decision-making, and—by improving communications about screening options—contributed to improved early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer.
