Lillestrøm Municipality faced the challenge of handling a growing volume of sensitive documents after a data leak, requiring a more effective way to protect citizen privacy. They contacted the vendor, Tietoevry, for support in using artificial intelligence within their case and document management solution, Public 360°.

The solution developed with Tietoevry was a system called Archive Inspector, which uses AI to automatically check documents for sensitive information before publication. The municipality has been using the solution since the start of 2023 and reports good experiences, achieving greater security and confidence that they are doing everything possible to protect citizen privacy. Tietoevry is now working to make this AI capability available to other public bodies.
