Höör Municipality needed to adapt its home care services to continue safely supervising sick and elderly residents, particularly those with dementia, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenge was to reduce physical visits while maintaining security and independence for users. Tietoevry provided a pilot project for remote digital supervision.

Tietoevry's solution integrated remote camera supervision into the existing Lifecare business system. The technology was used to conduct digital visits, which were tailored to each individual's needs. This resulted in a significant reduction in alarm calls from users, increased feelings of safety and independence for residents, and very positive feedback from both users and their relatives.
