Harvestia, a wood procurement company for Powerflute PLC, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated wood and fibre supply system. They needed to increase the efficiency of their hauling operations with transportation partners and integrate all the different actors in the supply chain into a single, more effective ecosystem for better steering of deliveries. To address this, they partnered with vendor Tietoevry.

The solution from Tietoevry involved modernizing Harvestia’s existing tools and implementing the Tieto Integrated Fibre Flow (TIFF) module for logistics planning. This was integrated with Trimble’s LogForce service for operational planning. As a result, Harvestia achieved significantly improved steering of its wood and fibre deliveries and much more efficient hauling operations with its transportation partners.
