The City of Tampere, a municipal government serving over 400,000 residents in Finland, sought to become the most attractive region in the Nordics by improving its digital services. Their challenge was to establish a stable, standardized IT infrastructure to enable better digitalization and automation for its end users. To achieve this, they partnered with the vendor Tietoevry.

Tietoevry implemented a comprehensive solution that included centralizing platform services to their data centers and the public cloud, standardizing service delivery, and deploying a centralized integration platform. A key component was the implementation of M365 to enable flexible working. As a result, the City of Tampere can now provide better services for residents, has created a more attractive environment for companies, and can concentrate on its core business and long-term strategic goals.
