Boosteroid, the world’s largest independent cloud gaming provider, aimed to enter the U.S. market but faced distance-related latency requirements and pandemic-driven hardware supply delays. The company needed high-density colocation, flexible onboarding, and reliable onsite teams to deploy GPU-based streaming servers across multiple metropolitan areas.

Boosteroid partnered with TierPoint to select low-latency data centers and leverage TierPoint’s colocation and remote-hands services, deploying an initial phase across six U.S. locations in early 2022 (with extensions into Canada and Mexico planned). The partnership enabled rapid market entry, ongoing nationwide scale-up, and supports Boosteroid’s planned multi-billion-dollar hardware investment through 2029.
