Global Corporate Travel Manager Extends Its Reach Through Migration, Consolidation to TierPoint

Corporate Travel Management (CTM), an international travel services firm serving enterprise customers in 82 countries, faced the challenge of consolidating IT assets from eight recent U.S. acquisitions. With disparate data centers across Alaska, California and Texas, limited IT staff, and the need for PCI-compliant facilities, CTM needed a secure, centrally managed environment to simplify migrations, reduce operating costs, and support future growth.

Working with VAR ePlus, CTM selected TierPoint’s Andover, MA colocation for a cage with six cabinets, virtualized servers, hands‑and‑eyes support, PCI compliance and West Coast DR options. The move centralized equipment, reduced power/cooling and networking costs, cut management overhead and person‑hours, and freed CTM’s team to focus on integrating acquisitions and scaling the business.
