Wicklewood, a UK-based online home decor store run by Rosie and Caroline, faced the challenge of competing with giants like IKEA while moving entirely online and still offering the personalized in-store design advice customers needed. To recreate that experience and capture leads, Wicklewood chose Tidio and its Live Chat/chatbot tools (found via the Shopify app store) to engage visitors and offer tailored design help.
Wicklewood implemented Tidio’s welcome chat, lead‑generation chatbots and a pre-chat survey that lets customers upload room photos and requires name/email, feeding contacts into their email marketing. Using Tidio, they reduced customer friction, now generate about 30 highly qualified leads per month, saw a 15% lift in leads and a 3x increase in referrals, and improved response times and overall customer experience.
