How Clarins Beat the Giants with an Army of Micro-Influencers

Clarins, the luxury skin care brand, wanted to move beyond a one-off influencer campaign and build a more strategic, ongoing digital presence in the U.S. market. After early success with its #WorthTheWrinkle activation, the team needed a scalable way to drive brand awareness, create authentic content for owned channels, and manage influencer relationships more efficiently.

To solve this, Clarins worked with Tidal Labs to launch a private-branded influencer network and automate influencer relationship management, content approvals, fulfillment, and reporting. Using Tidal Labs’ platform and TalentSpider discovery tools, Clarins built a data-driven creator program that delivered about 370 activations across 165 unique creators, nearly $4M in earned media value, and an average ROI of 14.3x, while also improving engagement and reducing the time and cost required to manage campaigns.
