Banana Republic, the high-end subsidiary of GAP Inc., needed a scalable way to create more authentic influencer-driven content for BananaRepublic.com as traditional advertising and highly produced shoots became less effective. The brand had hundreds of individual products that needed to be shot each month, and existing influencer networks, PR firms, and agencies weren’t built to handle that volume. To solve this, Banana Republic turned to Tidal Labs and its influencer content-as-a-service program.
Tidal Labs built a private influencer network using its ContentMetric® influencer CRM to manage logistics, content review, FTC compliance, and distribution at scale. The program quickly began delivering results, with 500 shoots from 250 influencers each month, generating hundreds of thousands of shares, comments, and likes while creating a shoppable content hub on BananaRepublic.com. Banana Republic also extended the content across e-newsletters and marketing channels, increasing brand awareness and engagement through authentic influencer content.
