World Vision, a global humanitarian organization operating in nearly 100 countries and assisting some 70 million people annually, faced a critical challenge: how to deliver rich media and field data faster and more reliably to donors and support offices. Staff were transferring 15,000–30,000 files daily from roughly 1,200 remote sites, but poor power and connectivity caused data loss, quality issues, and slow reporting—undermining transparency, accountability, and donor engagement.
World Vision implemented TIBCO Managed File Transfer Agent alongside TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, Enterprise Message Service, Spotfire and web messaging to centralize, validate and orchestrate incoming data and enable a publish‑subscribe model for remote devices. The solution delivered reliable transfers from more than 1,200 sites, consolidated global reporting with graphical dashboards, improved synchronization of child data, increased operational efficiency, and faster, more transparent communication with donors.
