Sisal Hits the Jackpot with New Digital Gaming Experiences

Sisal Group S.p.A., a 70-year-old leader in the Italian gaming market with 40,000+ points of sale and 6.8 million customers, was expanding online and internationally (Morocco, Spain, Turkey) and needed to better link web and betting data to understand customer behavior, prevent churn, and boost cross-sell opportunities. The company lacked a visual analytics solution to identify when and why customers bet or abandon the site and to analyze performance across outlets and markets.

Sisal trialed and then adopted TIBCO Jaspersoft—validated by university students and consultant Quantyca—using the Community Edition in Italy (~50 users) and the Commercial Edition in Morocco (~100 users). The solution delivers reports and dashboards for shops, real-time lottery certification in Morocco (ticket counts, winners, per‑minute sales), and hourly sales monitoring for games, enabling faster insights into customer behavior, improved retention and cross-selling, and plans to roll out data models for Italy, Morocco, and Turkey.
