Sabre, one of the world’s largest global distribution systems, built Sabre Dev Studio to expose its travel data to a broader ecosystem and accelerate developer onboarding. The company needed a mobile-friendly, scalable developer platform to reach partners inside and outside the travel industry and capture more mobile bookings.

Using TIBCO Cloud™ Mashery® API management, Sabre launched a developer portal that hosts hundreds of SOAP and REST APIs with I/O Docs and an API Explorer, enabling developers to get started in under five minutes. Since launch the portal has recorded 26K+ visits and 1,450+ registered keys, while the API layer processes about 1.5 billion calls per day (95+ calls/sec).
