Plantronics Calls on TIBCO LogLogic to Ensure Compliance

Plantronics, a leading designer and maker of lightweight headsets, needed to meet SOX and PCI compliance but was constrained by a small IT staff and an ad hoc logging process that made reporting time-consuming and audit riskier. After considering in-house, SaaS, and software options and consulting auditors, the company sought an appliance-based logging solution to centralize logs and streamline compliance reporting.

Plantronics deployed a single TIBCO LogLogic MX appliance to collect logs from about 20 servers; implementation took roughly one hour. The appliance reduced report generation from hours to about 15 minutes, required minimal training, improved network visibility and process monitoring, simplified maintenance, and opened the door to expanding log collection across additional systems.
