Nacional Financiera (Nafinsa) is Mexico’s government development bank that supports industrial, commercial and SME modernization. Faced with slow, manual data gathering and reporting across guarantees, credit and productivity-chain areas, the bank needed to standardize and automate analytics and decision-making to reduce long response times and improve insight.

After evaluating BI vendors, Nafinsa implemented TIBCO WebFOCUS and in four months launched the EBIFomento analytics application to consolidate credit and guarantee data, provide real‑time distribution, Office integration and mobile access, and add visualization and trend analysis. The single platform automated manual processes, reduced information‑loss risk, improved regulatory reporting and decision-making, and supported 10–15% project growth over six years.
