Lufthansa Systems Cracks the Code on Embedded BI

Lufthansa Systems, a leading provider of IT services to the airline industry, faced a challenge in modernizing its disparate reporting across more than 100 products to keep up with competitors and better serve its airline customers. To address this, they sought a multi-tenant BI tool that could be integrated and extended for agile development and chose to implement TIBCO Jaspersoft.

By leveraging TIBCO Jaspersoft, the vendor's solution enabled the creation of secure, multi-tenant integrations with customer authentication systems and allowed for easy extensions to solve complex problems like using SOAP web services as a data source. The results were significant; Lufthansa Systems reduced the time to create first reports from months to just three weeks, which greatly impressed their customer, Lufthansa Airline, during initial demos.
