CTBC Bank, Taiwan’s most international financial institution, needed to standardize and integrate diverse core and subsidiary banking systems to support rapid overseas expansion across 14 countries and 110 outlets. CTBC implemented TIBCO Connected Intelligence to create a standard, reusable service infrastructure that simplified integration. The platform enabled rapid deployment of hundreds of services (now ~1,100), achieved roughly 36% service reuse with initial cost savings around 34%, supported 100+ international financial services, and helped grow daily retail transactions from ~150,000 to 5.2 million—boosting speed, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.
