Catholic Medical Center Saves Lives by Automating Vaccine Eligibility and Registration

Catholic Medical Center (CMC), a 330‑bed nonprofit acute‑care hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, faced an urgent COVID‑19 challenge when the state gave it less than two weeks to set up contact centers to register Phase 1b vaccine patients. With rapidly changing eligibility rules and reporting requirements, limited tools (an Excel spreadsheet), and the need to identify and reach thousands of eligible patients, CMC needed a fast, centralized, data‑driven process to manage outreach and reporting.

Working with PowerHouse Consulting, CMC implemented the TIBCO Cloud Integration platform to automate patient eligibility checks, call‑center workflows, and CRM updates. The solution was deployed in 10 days, enabling four staff to manage about 2,200 interactions and hundreds of patient files, quantify every outreach, streamline reporting, and rapidly scale for future needs—helping accelerate vaccine rollout and save lives.
