Bigmate is an IoT/“Internet of Assets” telematics provider that collects high-frequency sensor data to deliver real-time vehicle tracking and asset insights. The company faced the challenge of giving customers accessible, customizable dashboards and reports that make sense of data generated as often as once per second, and wanted a single solution that could answer varied business questions and scale with demand.

Bigmate embedded TIBCO Jaspersoft BI and migrated to AWS to blend IoT data, deliver modular dashboards, and run a serverless, scalable platform supporting over 1,200 devices. The solution produced dashboards in two months and scalable offerings in six, tripled Bigmate’s product lines without large staff increases, improved customer retention, and enabled new use cases (for example, tracking lost shopping carts) that drive measurable cost savings.
