La Plateforme du Bâtiment, a French wholesaler serving building professionals across stores, web and mobile, faced fragmented and low-quality product data that hindered its digital strategy and omnichannel consistency. To centralize and govern product information across channels, stores and suppliers, La Plateforme implemented TIBCO EBX as its omni‑channel product master data management platform.
Using TIBCO EBX, La Plateforme built a centralized MDM hub with integrations to web, mobile, print, ERP and supplier domains, new workflows and role-based editors. The project cut blocking errors from about 30,000 to 598, grew managed SKUs from ~70,000 to 77,000, expanded ERP fields from 370 to 807 and increased sites from 68 to 86, while enabling broader collaboration and faster deliveries; TIBCO EBX also supported the rollout with senior experts, a customizable UI and standard interfaces for easy integration.
