Credit Suisse faced the challenge of centralizing and governing massive volumes of investment‑bank reference data—legal agreements, counterparty and product descriptors, and related metadata—sourced from many legacy systems and external feeds while meeting tight regulatory and operational SLAs. To create a single "Golden Copy," automate capture (OCR/Clause matching) and real‑time distribution, Credit Suisse deployed an MDM reference data hub based on EBX5 (TIBCO EBX) alongside its OCR and document tools.

Using TIBCO EBX as the master data hub (EBX UI, ETL/load & match, approval workflows and distribution), the solution integrated DMMS, Adsensa/WordSensa processing and legacy feeds to master agreement data, enforce governance and route updates to owners for approval. TIBCO EBX enabled a single Golden Copy, automated real‑time distribution and unique front‑to‑back identifiers, delivering measurable improvements in data quality, faster onboarding and regulatory response times, reduced exceptions and a clearer path to legacy system decommissioning.
