Credit Suisse, a global bank active in over 50 countries, faced inconsistent and fragmented reference data across domains—multiple sources for the same data classes, hundreds of point-to-point interfaces, unclear ownership and governance, and resulting reporting and operational errors. To address this, Credit Suisse selected TIBCO EBX (EBX) as the standard tool to underpin a Multi-Domain Reference Data Hub (RDH) for structural and classification reference data.

Using TIBCO EBX, Credit Suisse implemented a centralized RDH, completed an operational pilot in April 2012, and identified 84 consuming systems for initial migration. The TIBCO EBX–based hub created a single version of the truth with standardized governance and lifecycle workflows, reducing complex interfaces, improving data quality and consistency, and lowering the cost and risk of manual fixes and downstream reporting errors.
