FoodEssentials, a mid-market healthcare data services company, possessed a robust nutritional database but lacked the brand recognition and developer resources to compete with larger enterprises. TIBCO Cloud Mashery provided a rapid implementation and a comprehensive developer experience (DX) audit, which optimized their API portal and documentation. This solution enabled FoodEssentials to successfully demo at events, leading to a partnership with Aetna’s CarePass. The results were significant: a 120x increase in API calls, nearly 100% fewer customer service inquiries, and over 30 apps built on their API.
