The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center - Customer Case Study

The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center in Los Angeles needed to replace an aging parking system across its 1,300-space garage while handling heavier traffic, faster exits, and compliance for employees required to park in a nested area. The operator, AmeriPark, chose TIBA Parking after evaluating several providers, looking for a gateless, cardless solution that could reduce overhead and support the facility’s mixed-use retail and entertainment traffic.

TIBA Parking implemented a virtual nesting area using LPR cameras and parking software, allowing employees and monthly parkers to be recognized by license plate as they moved through the garage. The result was 97% monthly parker compliance, 80% of users paying at pay stations, and more than 100,000 cars entering each month, while labor needs dropped from six employees per shift to two and the garage saved over $250,000 per year in labor costs.
