RMS Builds a Great Culture with Real-Time Employee Engagement

RMS, headquartered in Newark, California, is a global catastrophe risk modeling company with more than 1,100 employees across 10 countries. As a highly distributed, data-driven organization, RMS needed a better way to measure employee engagement than its outdated 70-question survey, which was time-consuming to complete and slow to deliver meaningful results. The company also wanted a simpler, more social-media-like experience for employees.

Thymometrics provided RMS with a cloud-based, real-time employee engagement survey platform with deep analytics and easy-to-use sliders. After a pilot confirmed the platform could deliver richer insights than the legacy survey, RMS rolled it out globally and later expanded it to include anonymous employee-to-manager and peer-to-peer feedback. According to RMS, Thymometrics saved time and money, eliminated manual analytics work, enabled faster follow-up surveys, and strengthened company culture by helping employees feel their opinions were heard and acted on promptly.
