Sport Clips replaces Hightail’s Outlook plugin with Thru to email large file attachments

Sport Clips, a national sports-themed haircare franchise with more than 1,700 stores in the United States and Canada, needed a replacement for Hightail’s discontinued Outlook plugin so employees could send large email attachments from Microsoft Outlook. They selected Thru and its Thru for Outlook integration to restore large-file sharing directly inside Outlook.

Thru implemented Thru for Outlook, giving users unlimited-size secure links, access to Thru Cloud from an Outlook side panel, drag-and-drop file management, encryption, antivirus scanning, optional password protection and additional integrations (Office 365, Salesforce, mobile apps). As a result, Sport Clips achieved increased efficiency and user satisfaction, reduced time spent on web apps, easier collaboration and secure external file exchange—eliminating file size limits across its 1,700+ stores.
