Crocs automates global file transfers with Thru

Crocs, a global footwear leader, needed to modernize its file transfer automation as it moved infrastructure from on-premises to the cloud. Their Oracle Fusion middleware was costly, complex and slow to configure for hundreds of daily file exchanges across systems and partners, so Crocs selected the Thru Platform as its cloud managed file transfer (MFT) solution to replace the legacy middleware.

Thru migrated Crocs’ file transfers to a cloud-native MFT, enabling no-code configuration and collaboration on a customized design. As a result, Crocs reduced connection setup time from 2–4 hours to about 30 minutes, built some transfers up to 8× faster, scaled to 20,000+ monthly file movements, lowered IT overhead, and freed IT resources to focus on revenue-generating projects—while aligning MFT with the company’s hybrid cloud strategy.
