ACI Worldwide chooses Thru to deliver large software files directly from Salesforce

ACI, a Universal Payments provider serving thousands of financial institutions, needed a way to distribute large software builds, updates and patches from within Salesforce and to track when files were delivered. After wrestling with multiple legacy FTP systems inherited from acquisitions, ACI chose Thru and its Thru Platform/Thru API to deliver large software files directly from its Salesforce portal.

Using the Thru API and on‑premises Thru Platform, ACI created a Salesforce-integrated interface that sends secure download links, manages entitlements with Thru Groups, and records deliveries with Thru Audit. Thru helped ACI consolidate multiple delivery systems into one (cutting costs), meet revenue-recognition requirements, improve customer satisfaction with easy 24/7 downloads, and keep its software library available across mirrored data centers.
