A Thrive Case Study
Wiltshire Police, the regional force covering a large rural area in southwest England, needed a better way to keep its officers and staff informed while they were out and about and away from station hubs. Using Thrive’s Siren app, the force aimed to solve the communication challenge created by mobile, community-based policing and provide a central place for key information and updates.
Thrive implemented the Siren app as a digital information hub with the potential to become a core communications channel for the force. It gave officers access to operational briefings, tasking information, contact details, and other resources in one place, with plans to expand it into a more interactive, two-way tool using push notifications and video. While no hard metrics were given, Wiltshire Police said the app offered a fantastic opportunity to support its mobile police force and improve communications across community teams.
