A Thrive Case Study
Fairchild Medical Center, a rural healthcare provider in Yreka, California, needed a better way to unify a growing workforce and improve internal communications as culture change took hold. After expanding significantly, the organization faced pockets of low morale, disengagement, and turnover, and its executive team wanted employees to feel more connected and aligned around five new core values. Thrive provided the employee app platform to help address these challenges.
Using Thrive’s intuitive content management system and Microsoft Active Directory integration, Fairchild Medical Center launched an app with news, the CEO’s monthly updates, contact lists, team member introductions, cafeteria menus, and a values recognition program. Early adoption was strong, especially among the Environmental Services team, and the goal is to have at least 75% of employees download the app. Fairchild Medical Center also plans to use Google Analytics to track engagement and expand the app with video blogs, an electronic noticeboard, and employee suggestions, making Thrive a key part of onboarding and day-to-day communication.
