KaBOOM! launches a future-ready WordPress site in June 2024 with Threespot

KaBOOM!, a nonprofit working to end playspace inequity, needed to align its digital presence with its refocused mission. Its outdated website had a clunky structure and limited flexibility, which hindered storytelling, audience reach, and driving action. Threespot was engaged to address this challenge.

Threespot developed a custom WordPress CMS and website for KaBOOM!, informed by stakeholder input and a refreshed brand. They simplified the information architecture around core audiences and integrated the site with the organization's mapping and engagement tools. The future-ready platform, launched in June 2024, empowers content creators and serves as a flexible digital home for the movement. The project was recognized as a Webby Award Honoree in 2025.
