Coalesse, a Steelcase company, needed a way to inspire buyers and enable deep product customization for its LessThanFive chair—letting customers apply custom graphics, logos, color gradients and see real‑time renders across devices. To meet that challenge Coalesse partnered with Threekit to deliver an intuitive online design experience.

Threekit built and launched the LessThanFive Customizer—a responsive 3D product configurator that lets buyers apply any color, upload designs, and choose matte or glossy finishes with instant rendering. Working with Steelcase’s design and branding teams, Threekit delivered a tool that increased customer engagement and confidence, earned praise for fast support, and—while specific metrics weren’t disclosed—has been credited with boosting sales and shortening the sales cycle.
