Soldier For Life Transition Assistance Program saves tens of thousands of dollars with Three Wire Systems

The Soldier For Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) faced the challenge of providing mandatory transition training to all departing Army service members. The traditional in-person classes were logistically difficult and costly, especially for soldiers in remote locations. Three Wire Systems partnered with 3D Immersive Collaboration Consulting to address this using their Immersive Terf software to create the SFL-TAP Virtual Center.

Three Wire Systems implemented a persistent virtual classroom solution that allows soldiers to connect from anywhere with minimal hardware requirements. This provided 24/7 access across time zones and eliminated the need for instructors to travel. The results were highly successful, with over 36,000 unique accounts created and monthly usage of 1,500 to 3,000 soldiers. The solution saved the Army tens of thousands of dollars in logistics costs and received high praise from users for its engaging and innovative approach.
