ThreatMark’s SOC Team Helps Sberbank Fight Online Fraud and Finetune Its Anti-fraud Landscape

Sberbank’s Czech branch faced persistent online-banking threats — unauthorized transactions, phishing sites and new malware — and sought to strengthen its fraud-mitigation capabilities. Since 2017 the bank partnered with ThreatMark, deploying ThreatMark AFS and engaging ThreatMark’s Security Operation Center (SOC) to combine behavioral biometrics, machine‑learning detection and specialist SOC services for its internet and mobile channels.

ThreatMark implemented 24/7 SOC monitoring that fuses on‑page and off‑page intelligence to produce actionable signatures pushed to a centralized knowledge center, and delivered a 2‑day workshop to upskill Sberbank’s fraud analysts. As a result, ThreatMark helped fine‑tune Sberbank’s anti‑fraud systems, proactively detect phishing and zero‑day malware, and keep the bank’s teams current with emerging threats through ongoing advisory support and real‑time ThreatMark AFS protections.
