Case Study: Highfive achieves continuous, infrastructure-wide visibility and secure containerization with Threat Stack

A Threat Stack Case Study

Preview of the Highfive Case Study

Threat Stack Secures Highfive’s Evolving Infrastructure

Highfive, a Redwood City–based video conferencing provider, needed to scale its AWS infrastructure while meeting SOC 2 and GDPR requirements and eliminating security gaps during a shift to a more containerized environment. To gain the visibility and controls required for larger enterprise customers and complex security audits, Highfive turned to Threat Stack and its Cloud Security Platform, deploying Threat Stack host-based agents and AWS integrations.

Threat Stack integrated with Highfive’s AWS profiles and CloudTrail, immediately surfacing risky behaviors (for example, data exfiltration when engineers pulled files locally) and enabling stronger file-access policies. As Highfive migrated to containers, Threat Stack’s containerized agent (available via DockerHub) extended that coverage so the team retained continuous, infrastructure-wide visibility and real-time alerts, helping Highfive move upmarket, maintain compliance, and accelerate deployments without sacrificing security.
