URC-CHS is a global non-profit health and social services development firm that grew four-fold to 800+ staff across 40+ countries, leaving employees fragmented by geography and language. Staff struggled to find policies, forms and expertise, collaboration relied on email and duplicated files, and valuable skills and project knowledge went underused.

As part of a KM initiative they launched CONNECT, a ThoughtFarmer-based intranet, centralizing documents, offering region-specific views, online versioned collaboration, built‑in translation, a searchable staff skills directory, and cloud/extranet support. Early results show much easier access to information, less duplication and storage pressure, increased cross-team sharing and reuse of resources, strong management buy-in and enthusiastic user adoption.
