VHA Home HealthCare is a not‑for‑profit healthcare provider with over 3,000 staff delivering in‑home and community care. Because most employees are frontline clinicians and support workers who aren’t regularly at a desk, VHA struggled to share timely, organization‑wide information—an issue made urgent by the COVID‑19 pandemic—and faced the added risk that a new technology might not be adopted by a dispersed workforce.
VHA implemented ThoughtFarmer’s intranet, The Loop, to centralize updates, documents and training; add FormFlow for requests and eModule sign‑ups; host a media library; and use built‑in recognition (Shout‑outs). The result was a single, easy‑to‑access hub for COVID guidance and everyday operations, faster workflows with fewer back‑and‑forth communications, stronger version control and collaboration, improved employee recognition, and measurable efficiency gains across the organization.
