How moving from SharePoint intranet breathed new life into a leading credit union’s communications and culture

DUCA Financial Services Credit Union, a growing financial services organization with 400 employees across 19 locations, was struggling with SharePoint’s siloed, complex upload process and limited interactivity. These issues made internal communications time-consuming for the communications team and slowed efforts to build a more connected culture. DUCA chose ThoughtFarmer to replace SharePoint with a more intuitive intranet and communication platform.

ThoughtFarmer implemented a customized setup with training and ongoing support, giving DUCA an easier way to publish content, search for information, and enable employee interaction. The results were strong: nearly 60,000 searches were conducted, employees created over 2,200 pieces of content in the first year, and the platform generated 4,000+ likes and comments.
