Boosting employee engagement and knowledge sharing with a new intranet

RICK Engineering, a 400-employee engineering, planning, and design firm, needed a better intranet to replace an outdated system that was hard to update, lacked engagement features, and didn’t work well for its dispersed, traveling workforce. The company chose ThoughtFarmer and its intranet platform, along with Professional Services, to help launch a new internal hub and support knowledge sharing, communication, and mobile access.

ThoughtFarmer helped RICK Engineering quickly launch the new RICK Hub with strategy, content migration, departmental integration, and FormFlow forms for surveys and information gathering. The results were strong: over 12,000 unique logins in the first six months, 40+ news feeds, 15+ articles shared monthly, and a mobile app used by 100+ employees on the road. RICK also rolled out 130+ online forms, making nearly all information-gathering happen through the intranet.
