Silver Falls School District - Customer Case Study

Silver Falls School District, a 13-school district in Oregon, faced a setback when a proposed facilities bond failed, leaving needed upgrades unfunded. Superintendent Andy Bellando and the board needed to understand why voters rejected the measure, rebuild community trust, and set new directions for facilities, vision and strategic planning.

The district partnered with Thoughtexchange to run an online engagement that attracted over 2,000 participants and generated more than 10,000 thoughts, giving leaders clearer priorities and broader community input. The results helped redefine approaches to facility needs, produce a district vision, strategic plan and multi‑year goals, and establish an ongoing engagement process the district will use to guide future decisions.
