Engaging stakeholders in a vision for the future with Thoughtexchange

Camosun College in Victoria, BC needed to update its long-term campus plan but wanted to avoid decisions driven by a vocal few. Leadership’s challenge was to build trust, create ownership of the vision, and hear from a broad cross-section of faculty and staff.

They partnered with Thoughtexchange to run an online engagement that reached 507 staff who confidentially shared and rated ideas; advanced analysis showed student experience (collaboration space, housing, support services) as the top priority. The insights guided in-person meetings and facilities planning, helping leaders make informed decisions and strengthen community confidence.
