Calgary Catholic partners with Sheldon Kennedy and Thoughtexchange to make progress on the critical issue of child abuse

Calgary Catholic School District partnered with the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre to develop a national guide for helping children who’ve experienced abuse re‑integrate into schools. With 140 district leaders at a kickoff event, CCSD needed to collect and prioritize meaningful feedback on a tight timeline to ensure the guide was accurate and practical.

They used Thoughtexchange’s leader app to engage 119 participants, gather 150 thoughts and instantly produce a prioritized top‑20 report in about a minute. The rapid, rich input saved time and gave CCSD and SKCAC the actionable, comprehensive feedback needed to finalize the guide, and the district plans to use the tool for future engagements.
