The solution involved building a carbon footprint tool on Thought Machine's Vault Core. The platform's event-driven, real-time data capabilities allowed C6 Bank to successfully launch the first product of its kind in Brazil. This tool collects transaction data and provides customers with a way to observe and offset their CO2 emissions from purchases. The measurable impact has been significant, with over 2,000 tonnes of CO2 offset by users as of July 2023, demonstrating high customer engagement with the innovative product.
