Seismic, a leader in sales enablement and marketing orchestration technology, needed a consistent, scalable way to educate customers as it grew; without a unified approach, onboarding and post‑onboarding training varied by team and created confusion and extra support requests. To solve this, Seismic launched Seismic University hosted on the Thought Industries platform to standardize customer education across the entire customer lifecycle.
Using Thought Industries, Seismic rolled out self‑paced, instructor‑led, virtual and blended learning, certification pathways, built‑in content/assessment authoring and BI connector analytics to tie learning to business outcomes. The program reduced education‑related support tickets and saved Seismic significant staff time — delivering 15,404 training hours, returning 6,500 hours to Customer Success, and certifying 280 customers — while improving consistency, adoption, CSAT correlations and earning the Customer Training Experience Award at COGNITION 2020.
