The Newton Institute, a leadership development organization, needed to make its flagship program, The Serving Leader Model, accessible beyond six-month, in-person cohorts that required a day away from work each month and significant travel. To overcome these time, cost, and geographic barriers the Newton Institute chose Thought Industries and its Learning Business Platform™ to deliver courses online and on any device.

Thought Industries provided a robust platform with course authoring, in-platform reporting, and eCommerce, plus hands-on support and flexibility that aligned with Newton Institute’s “training as a business” goals. Using Thought Industries’ platform, Newton Institute launched its flagship online course (with a handful of learners already enrolled), is using the master course design to rapidly build commercial offerings, has received positive learner feedback on usability, and has removed much of the time and financial barriers to participation while preparing to add more courses and live video sessions.
