A Thought Industries Case Study

Lamaze reaches new parents with online learning

Lamaze International, a nonprofit that promotes evidence-based pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting education, needed to reach modern parents who increasingly prefer online learning and many of whom live in rural or remote areas without local educators. Facing declining attendance at traditional 12-hour classroom courses and the need for more flexible, self-paced options, Lamaze turned to Thought Industries’ Learning Business Platform to deliver interactive online classes and extend their reach.

Using Thought Industries, Lamaze built engaging, mobile-friendly courses with interactive content types (flipcards, matching exercises), course bundling, and built-in reporting and email tools to track purchase statistics, course completion rates, and solicit learner feedback. The Thought Industries platform enabled Lamaze to expand access to parents who couldn’t attend in-person classes, offer their popular “Labor Pain Management” course online, and use analytics to measure purchases and completions while encouraging learner engagement and local class uptake.
