Thornton Tomasetti conducted a comprehensive risk assessment and developed a multi-phase master plan. Key solutions included enhancing utility redundancy, advancing water management systems, and integrating Smart City technologies like early warning flood detection. The resulting plan, centered around a protective pedestrian path called "the Spline," reconnects the city to its waterfront, mitigates climate risks, and fosters a shift towards sustainable transportation.
