Splunk helps 270 Brannan earn LEED Platinum with Thornton Tomasetti

Thornton Tomasetti provided sustainability services to Splunk for its new commercial office building, 270 Brannan, in San Francisco. The challenge was to design and construct a high-performance, sustainable core and shell building that would achieve a top-tier environmental certification.

Thornton Tomasetti facilitated the entire LEED Platinum certification process, which included integrating features like a rainwater harvesting system, a rooftop solar photovoltaic array, and numerous energy and water conservation measures. As a result, the project earned all possible points for water efficiency and became one of only 30 buildings in San Francisco to achieve the USGBC's highest rating.
